The United Francisville Civic Association values and appreciates the residents, businesses, and stakeholders in our Francisville community. Our goal is to deliver a relevant and useful monthly meeting. Due to a light agenda, we will cancel the April meeting and resume in May with exciting community spotlights and real estate development project presentations.

  • Join UFCA for Philly Spring Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 10!
    • To volunteer, please sign up in advance. See flyer for the full details.
    • Meet with friends and neighbors at the 1500 Parrish Street lot between 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM to pick up supplies provided by the Philadelphia Streets Dept, though you are welcome to bring your own.
    • Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
    • Volunteer appreciation beverages and snacks will be provided by Vineyards Cafe and CrossFit Fairmount!
    • Share your cleanup efforts by tagging UFCA on Instagram or Facebook for a chance to win a Libertee Grounds or Bar Hygge gift card!
  • Zoning Committee Update
    • At the upcoming May 12 UFCA Community Meeting, a developer will be sharing a presentation for the property known as the “Triangle Lot” – the large lot bounded by 19th St, Wylie St, Cameron St, and Vineyard St.
      • The project is currently “by right” which means that there will be no vote and no active discussion during the meeting. As a “by right project”, they are not coming to UFCA for any variances, but rather as a courtesy to share the project with the community.
    • A form will be shared during the May meeting so community members have the chance to provide feedback that the UFCA Zoning Committee will share with the developers.
    • If you’re new to the neighborhood, to UFCA, or just want to learn more about the deep history of the property, please read more on the UFCA website.
  • UFCA is still seeking interested residents for the role of Zoning Chair and Vice President. If you are interested in learning more about these important volunteer roles, please email info@unitedfrancisville.com.
  • Fundraising Drive Update
    • Thank you to everyone who contributed to our 2021 fundraising drive. We received $1,170 from businesses, community members, and other stakeholders, which was matched by a community member for a total of $2,340!
    • UFCA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and you can donate anytime or set up a recurring monthly donation! Your donations provide funding to keep UFCA sustainable and running.
